About Managing Intellectual Property

Managing Intellectual Property, founded in 1990, is now firmly established as the leading international magazine for IP owners, with more than 8,000 readers across the globe. About two-thirds of the readers are senior in-house counsel in multinational companies.

Published 10 times a year, Managing IP provides thought provoking news, comment, data and authoritative analysis. It regularly publishes exclusive industry leading surveys such as the World IP survey, which is now split into 3 separate parts for patent, trade mark and copyright, and features interviews with influential figures in IP.

Managing IP aims to be at the forefront of publishing in IP by providing information from a diverse range of sources. Supplements are printed throughout the year including the World IP Contacts Handbook, which is distributed free to subscribers, and China IP focus which is Managing IP’s market-leading annual publication dedicated to this dynamic jurisdiction. In addition, Managing IP regularly hosts web seminars on key issues. It has also published three books: Maximizing the Value of IP, Hidden Value: Profiting from the IP economy and Little Blues: How to Build a Culture of Intellectual Property Within a Small Technology Company.

MIP is part of the Euromoney Legal Media Group , with offices in London, Hong Kong and New York. Other publications in the group include International Financial Law Review,  International Tax Review and Transfer Pricing Week

This website includes a full archive of every issue since February 1999, as well as weekly IP news from MIP Week (Managing IP's free weekly email newsletter) and links to other information sources. Non-subscribers are entitled to a free one-week trial of the current issues contents (excludes some surveys and articles).
